Have fun with the new Grand Seiko!
Looks like I'm not the only one who got their 1st GS this week!
And it's the same GS. The awesome Grand Seiko SBGR095 (62GS reissue, the first Grand Seiko automatic).
The presentation and goodies that came with the GS are amazing. Limited edition of 600 pieces in steel. Also 100 units each in PG, YG, and WG. This is also the 55th anniversary of the Grand Seiko line.
The watch arrived still sealed. Straight from the SII factory.
The silver dial and hands. No luminous is used on either. The Seiko cal. 9S65 has a power reserve of 72 hours.
Timing/inspection certificate.
And this Grand Seiko one-watch leather travel roll!

I love to get a new watch with all the trimmings! Congratulations on the purchase of a fine watch. Please let us know how you like it over the next month or so.
Your photos remind me that it's both a pleasure and a challenge to get all that kit - you have everything to enjoy, read, turn over again and again, but then all those items never fit into a nice compact space!
A pal has a huge modular bookcase-like unit built into his watch room, and into each cubicle he can place a box, papers, brochures, travel case, even small winders.
I make do with some drawers and a cupboard, but it's never enough space.

The best reissue of any watch I have ever seen - bar none! Soon I will be able to share in the enthusiasm. I am very fortunate to have found one, and expect it later this week. Thanks for your excellent photos, especially the ones of the presentation which I have never seen.
