First acquisition of the new year
Hi all -
So I took a bit of a punt on this one. Bought from Yahoo auctions in Japan, and I think struck lucky because it's in absolutely immaculate condition.
Was a little confused about this model at first, but having done a lot of checking, it does seem that corrections to Cazalea's great spreadsheet are in order.
SBGR027 - Steel, not titanium; strap, not bracelet (supplied with one black and one brown strap); Wako limited to 30 pieces.
And it's a stunner -

These are perhaps a little more accurate though!
The dial on this watch is just incredible. I've no idea what it's made of/how it's made, but it has an enamel-like quality to it.
If there's one thing that strikes me about the 3 Grand Seikos that I now own, it's that all of them - regardless of how amazing they look with the naked eye - just get better and better as you examine them in more and more detail.
I consider it my mission for 2016 to demonstrate to the world just how good these watches are!

Thanks for the input - I will adjust the spreadsheet. Specials like this are the hardest to document because the only info is second-hand adverts and they rarely (1 of 30) appear.
BTW Many (most?) Wako pieces have Arabic numerals. Most regular GS dials do not.
