I had a similar choice a while back but decided to go with it's Stainless Steel cousin

Do you find the reflections and shadows from your dial vary with the light and the general environment?
Most of mine do, and I find it a very endearing characteristic of Grand Seikos. I've got my wife's GS here, known as the SBGF009, with some kind of frosty, sparkly treatment on its dial.
