The Pilot Falcon is a relatively inexpensive pen available with an interesting "soft" nib in 14K gold. Unlike most contemporary nibs, the semi-flex of the Falcon nib allows for pleasing line variation. I very much enjoy writing with it, despite my very poor handwriting. An example of the possibilities, even from my poor hand.

Note that I am writing on inexpensive office paper so there is a bit of bleed that you won't get on better paper.
I have only two complaints about the pen. One, it is a bit small. See pictures below for comparison to the larger Pelikan M805 and very large Pelikan M1000. The Falcon is about the smallest pen I can use unposted with my average size hand. Though mine is HUGE compared to Donald Trump's! ;-) Two, the pen feels a bit "plastics", perhaps mostly because it is so small and light compared to others in my collection.
Some may not enjoy the Falcon because it is a cartridge/converter pen. I'll admit I prefer a piston or vacuum filler, but there is room in my collection for everything. Aesthetically, the pen is really nice, and it appears well made. From a price to value perspective, this pen is an absolute winner.
Hope that helps!
