Has been some time since I purchased a brand new watch, and was already quite excited particularly by this very model.

Why did you decide for black rather than white?

Hard decision to make
but a couple of reasons for me are the date window frame having natural artifacts of the enamel process, subdial cutting the 6 - again due to the dial process.
Choice of black is rather easy ( as in most cases I reckon )

We're waiting for it to arrive in Singapore. Apparently shipment has been delayed, so we have to wait til mid-Sep , alas...

I emailed Seiko SG and all they told me was that it would be mid Sep, no further info unfortunately. They weren't very responsive to be honest

Given the rather large Seiko community in SG, i expected them to be a bit more enthusiastic about their engagement with their customers. I have had pretty bad experiences at their Vivo boutique as well previously
