In my thread on the SCVL002 yesterday (here: www.watchprosite.com
for more) I mentioned Tokyo stripes and had a very curious Alkiro as a result 
So here a better picture, from my Grand Seiko SBGH035.
Any examples you can add to this? Let’s help out a fellow Purist here!

Grand Seiko movements are a delight to view dear KM!! ...
... here a picture of the back of my SBGJ021 Ltd edition of their GMT high beat model of 2016.
The awesome anodized full rotor leaves little space to fully appreciate the finish of its fine movement but it gives a hint anyway.

Is it me or these Tokyo strips are wider than Geneva, Glashütte... ones? I have this feeling but I’m not sure

Lest I infringe on anyone's preferences, I will not comment on whether Swiss or Japanese stripes are deeper, wider, stripier, more angled or whatsoever. But I can give you some images and examples. These are all my watches, and my photos - but not originally taken to demonstrate stripes.
