Have a look at the SBGR087

Hi, thanks for posting the picture.

I have had my eye on this model for a while now, well, more accurately, the old dial, SBGR087. The textured dial does look appealing and I personally like the 37mm case size, but I am not sure about its thickness. I am due to get a black dial SBGR053 in the coming weeks. If I get on well with the case proportions, this one will likely be added in the future.

The link you provided takes me to SBGH265, not the SBGR287

Can you check and confirm which model you are searching for?

The VFA is SBGH265 and has a textured dial. It is a special limited edition and quite expensive.

Your alternative choice, the SBGR287 at around $3000 seems a very good deal.

The dial texture is subtle like most GS dials; here are some photos from a Japanese site:

I wouldn't worry about buying it from a dealer in Japan if you want the watch - I've gotten a dozen or more watches over 15 years in that way... or wait and look for a second-hand one

Thanks for the feedback

I already ordered it! Will be collecting next month.
It's going to be my smallest watch by far. I will wear this for office work with long sleeve.

I would not worry about the size...

My GSs are in the 37-38mm range and work very well smile

Just add this to my collection.

The size works out fine. While small at 36mm, it compensate with presence. smile

The dial stands out. Bright, Brilliant and Beautiful.
