A strong angular case shape (modern take on 62GS), with top hat crystal and without bezel. SBGH039 comes with brown dial, and SBGH037 with silver. My personal favourite of the modern GS
Do you own the brown dial? Most handsome, I must say. As I am quite far from any dealer I've never tried on a brown dial, and consequently have a hard time imagining it with clothing, Do you have any shots you might share? Wear it in good health! FH
Both are mine. Silver sunray dial has 1960's feel, whereas Brown is a bit more modern. Brown looks almost black in low light, and only shows it's true colour in brighter light.
Here are some additional pics. I included also one pic of SBGJ021 for comparison, as it has a dark red dial (but comes with different case (44GS)).

Many thanks for these great shots. They're very helpful. I see what you mean about the subtly changing dial color. And I'm a little surprised...

to find myself attracted to the red, but like the sharper angles of the 039's case. So… what else is new? Do we ever get everything we want in one watch? I suppose so, but those "perfect pieces" are rare. Perhaps that should be a thread: Perfect Pieces - Watches That Get Everything Right. (I'm sure it's been done before.) All good thoughts sent your way. FH
