Leather in summer
Who loves it and who doesn't wear leather in the summer to save their straps? This is a $5 strap from that online auction site and it's held up remarkably well to sweat. Waiting on a blue gator to come in.
Also would love to hear how long a strap lasts on avg for those that wear them often in summer weather.
Personally I love all types of leather straps and have put them on my GS,and Rolexes. I have no problem with them year around. [nt]

Bracelet is what works best for me.
What bothers me with rubber or leather straps in the summer is what gets stuck between the strap and my wrist, most often annoyed by the sand that inherits my skin and sometimes with humidity, sweat etc ... it gets itching.
Now with your watch, I would keep it on a strap as for sure it would be what I call safe wear only.

If on leather bracelet and wears it everyday, my best guess is at most two years before one have to replace the strap.

I stopped wearing leather straps
Too much stuff gets stuck + sweat destroys the leather. Prefer bracelets and rubber straps I can quickly wipe. The best solution is a quick change system like the Overseas so I can wear a leather strap to a fancy dinner and stick with the bracelet/rubber throughout the day.
How about a textile (non-NATO) strap? Where I live it's 40 degrees Celsius right now.
