I read somewhere that this was the first quartz model that featured Seiko's VFA name on the dial. The LED light flashes every one second.

I just had it serviced and now it runs and flashes well. The build quality is extraordinary... multi-faceted crystal, superb case... feels high quality, which i guess it was in the 70s. I am a fan of these mid-70s quartz, like this and Omega Megaquartz.
