Now for something different: A Credor, the Genta “Locomotive" GCCR997
This is the first cosmetic variation on the Gerald Genta design which came out a year or so ago with a black/charcoal dial. Now it’s green dial, titanium case, 39x9mm and $15k

CR01 is a Credor-only movement
Not much available about the movement beyond this image and specs (below) but it’s apparently better-decorated version of the 6L35 and 6L75

It’s a bit of a shame though because they have an amazing capacity for doing the extraordinary. The watch is really nicely done though.
It's based on the Soprod A-10, it is the thinnest Seiko automatic and the only men's automatic currently used by Credor
Before this Credor used 8L (lower grade version of GS Seiko 9S) and 4S (52 stream) movements. The 8L is very thick (~6 mm) and 4S is middle of the road (~4 mm). In 2005 they launched models with 4L (3.6 mm) movements--which were likely made from Soprod ebauches.
While it isn't very fancy it's slimness makes it the best fit for the Credor brand. Seiko started producing its own version in-house sometime before 2017, which is the 6L (2.7 mm). There is a long tradition of Credor movements being gilt instead of rhodanized, which explains the finish.

The Soprod A10 is a clone based on the Seiko caliber 4L.
Nope, the A10 came first.
To my eyes, it looks uncomfortably dated...
something from the '70s that didn't age well.
The watch looks like a proper Genta design .
However i see to much elements of his other designs (AP bracelet, Nauti case design etc ) so it doesn’t look like a original Credor to me just a watch with all of his designs in one project
