I did an early morning mountain drive, cleaned the garage, now watching the Masters.

He’s a fellow enabler and has excellent taste in watches. I was drawn by the dial layout, white & blue color combo and that bracelet.
Also wearing a vintage Seiko since yesterday, Dad's . . .

Pops bought it while on a business trip to Kuwait in early '66, and wore it nearly every day for almost forty years. After one(!) service in that time span, he gave it to me. Had my watchmaker at the time service it, but it wasn't long before it started running erratically, so it went to a second watchmaker who made matters worse. Stopped wearing it for ten years or so, then gave it to my current watchmaker, a Seiko specialist, for restoration.
The previous watchmaker had butchered the movement, but fortunately all necessary parts were available and it now runs well enough to wear again.

Sounds like you’re having a productive and pleasant
morning. Not watching the Masters- working most of the
day- Mondays are my Sundays. Will get to go to a new Indian restaurant just downstairs that’s got glowing reviews so that’s something to look forward to. Wearing my GS Matsumoto Castle.
