Not sure if the tuna can is odd ball enough…
…but you rarely see this in the wild. The oddest thing: it looks ok (proportional) in pictures but it is absolutely G-Shock and bigger in real life…

Seiko Olympic Timer Watch
I never could figure this one out!
In theory you could time various Olympic competitions but holding the book in one hand while swearing
at the watch, occupied more time than most events shorter than the marathon…
While in regular “time of day” mode, the stout hand is hours and the skinny one is minutes (no seconds).

They're not for everyone
But you have to give them credit for trying, probably more than any other maker. They remind me a bit of the Citroen of the watch world.

The Fieldmaster “Contra” Watch kit with multiple units that clipped into a ‘strap’ even had a distance meter you could roll over a paper map to calculate distances. A compass, a timer/alarm, and get this — are you ready? — a watch!
Unreadable tiny hands, narrow stylish watch.
The first! Spring Drive, yes I had one. Small, with annoying rattling integrated bracelet (no strap possible), so I gave it up.
Who would have thought this might catch on?

The Contra is of course the classical super cool factor Seiko but they are all so delectable in different ways. Might actually have a Seiko pocket watch here somewhere, need to check… 🤞🏻
