Once you go GS, it’s hard to appreciate much else.

GS indices and hands are often better executed than patek, lange, AP, VC or FPJ lol...

I'd like to add a GS to my collection. There are just so many references to choose from that I wouldn't know where to begin seeking out the ideal one, Any suggestions as to how to familiarize myself with the brand and the myriad choices that are out there?
The best advice I can give you is start with the movement. What would you really like. The spring drive is mesmerizing.
There certainly is a lot to choose from, and
maybe they need to release a bit less. Is it
possible to have too much to choose from?
For what it's worth, the Evolution 9 series is a favorite
of mine. If you come New York, the flagship store on
Madison Avenue is a place where you can see everything.
Of course there are so many videos on YouTube, but
the eleventh commandment is Thou shalt not buy a watch
without having it on your wrist first! If you do come, I'd be
happy to meet you there. Always fun.

maybe visit an AD or factory outlet if you have one nearby to get a feel for the general approach. then narrow it down to whether your prefer a traditional mechanical movement or spring drive, and from there pick a dial finish that appeals to you. for me it started a few years back with some limited edition green dials and then this one due to the new 9RB2 movement that made a quantum leap in mechanical movement accuracy.

Had it on my wrist a few months ago. Beautifully balanced.
And the size at 37mm is great.
