Seiko

Of course, Doc ...

Art,

What a beauty. The strap and buckle is also gorgeous.

Seiko is always surprising.

Cheers,

Nilo

This strap is better . . .

. . . than the one that came on my GS - plusher, more comfortable, and with the deployant buckle, a snug fit that doesn't roll around on my wrist.

I'm not really much for large watches; this one is at the upper edge of my comfort zone.  A matte case finish would've helped reduce its 'signature' on my wrist.  All in all, though, it's not overpowering, so it passes my most critical test.  A watch that appears overly large on my wrist gets the heave-ho, no matter how much I like it objectively.

Wow, my friend....

... what a nice looking watch on your wrist!

Ken

Seriously, is there a better value . . .

 By: Dr No : March 12th, 2015-08:51
. . . in all of watchmaking?  How can you beat this?  No way, as far as I'm concerned.

Anyone can produce a well made watch with enough time, experience, and knowledge.  To make one as affordable as this: that's special.

Thank you, Ken.

Warm regards,

Art

I am just glad you like it! [nt]

SEIKO has made many great diver watches....

 By: KIH : March 12th, 2015-06:21
.... even for non-diver like me!

Very good looking Marinemaster, Nilo!

Ken

Yes, but ...

The Marinemaster is, IMHO, the one to look for.

I was amazed when I saw one, that can compare with the Swiss ones and more.

Cheers,

Nilo

Stay tuned for Basel... :-) [nt]

. . . alongside a Seiko dress watch . . .

. . . Thursday afternoon, Library Alehouse, Santa Monica.

PS - that's a pint of my favorite ale, Mad River Brewing Jamaica Red, in the background.

Good times

Warm regards,

Art

I don't have one but that's my favorite Seiko diver too

 By: cazalea : March 13th, 2015-14:02
even though I have about 6-7 Seiko divers already,

I've been on the lookout for one. I think it has the best hands of any of their divers.
