Incoming - Piaget Altiplano 900P
Just in time for CNY thanks to my authorized dealer buddy. Piaget Altiplano 900P.
Back in 2014, when this watch was launched, it was the thinnest mechanical watch at just 3.65mm thin. Now Piaget has beaten its own record with the new Altiplano Ultimate Concept watch at 2mm (at a price I can't afford !!).
Happy to settle for this 900P which is a pure joy on the wrist! This reference in rose gold with a black dial/movement plate is my favorite variant. Happy Fri everyone and have a great weekend.

Spectacular watch!
I've come very close to purchasing one a couple of times, but never quite made it happen. What I can't get over is that the open dial/movement gives a significant visual sense of depth, but then turn the watch sideways... and it's COMPLETELY flat.

The other aspects of the watch won me over eventually.
I have the same feeling with my Carter Louis Cartier Ultra Thin which has the piaget 430P movement.
However both the Cartier and this Piaget have very elegant brushed and engraved case back which look nice in rose gold so I'm ok with them

I love this watch! It is one of my fav and how thin it is is amazing!! I think that the thinner watch would make me worried that I would break it :p
Apart from the 900p being a gorgeous watch, it really fits your wrist well!
