I have been asked by a friend to help him value and sell this watch. It was given to him by his Grandfather and has never been worn by my friend.
The condition is fantastic the exact age unknown but my friend is 55 and remembers his grandfather wearing the watch when he was young??????
That is all I know Chaps and any help re value etc  would be very much appreciated....

...please get the serial number off the caseback?  That would be helpful.  My guess is it's a 1960s watch with 12p movement, but we might be able to learn more from Piaget (after everyone gets back from SIHH and has time to settle back in to work) if you have the serial number.

Please keep in mind that we do not provide valuations here.  That is not the purpose of this site.  I would have your friend take the watch to an appraiser that deals in fine vintage timepieces for an accurate valuation of the watch.
