Is this a genuine Cartier?
Hi all,
Watch was gifted to me by my father, worn by my grandfather - unfortunately I have no other information on the watch - It looks to be a Cartier Santos Dumont, but the back is unusual
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Not a santos Dumont from Cartier workshop,
Combination has never been part of Cartier collection/ creation with a steel back case with yellow/ rose metal case.
As well the secret signature on the Roman number is missing.
Pictures are not clear but I can see Cartier signatures. Also Cartier does make gold watches with steel back. I recently bought one Tank with same combination from the boutique.

With no unkindness intended to this OP, did we not resolve long ago not to respond to ‘one post’ enquires about the authenticity of a watch? Do we want to become ‘quality control’ for counterfeiters?
