Dear friends,
Welcome to the Cartier forum on PuristSPro. The primary goal of this forum, which is endorsed by Cartier Paris, is to discuss Cartier's impressive new collection of high horology watchmaking.
Cartier has a grand history of watchmaking, from the early 20th century complications by EWC to the exotic form watches of the mid-20th century. Building on that history, it aims to become a watchmaker of note. Cartier will make waves in the coming years and on this forum you'll have a first hand look at that revival.
I look forward to seeing you on the forum.

I look forward to learning more and more about Cartier!
Cheers,

Already fixed.

Congratulations on this new forum.
I think having a Cartier forum on PuristSpro says a lot about Cartier's coming of age as a watchmaker. There have been so many interesting and informative posts on Cartier so it is nice to see all of them in their own dedicated forum.
I look forward to learning more about Cartier from this forum!
All the best!

to allow PuristSPro to help share the news, tremendous history and exciting plans lined up for Cartier High Horology.
Having been a fan of Cartier for quite some time as well as a respectful observer - my mother's daily wear timepiece for over a decade now is a white gold Tank - and knowing full well the old adage, repeated by an internal study by an internationally renowned bank and wealth management institution, that "Only six brands are bankable (in the 1990's when the report was released)" with Cartier strongly among that august six brands; I am proud that PuristSPro can do its part.
Congrats, SJX, and I look forward to learning and being kept abreast of developments in this forum.
Cheers,
TM
so you deserve most of the blame.

This is a fantastic addition to the Puristspro forum! Cartier has a rich history in the world of watch making creating iconic designs such as the Tank, Santos, and Tonneau and creating special pieces such as the mystery clocks. I'm really happy to see the addition of a Cartier forum here. Here is a quick photo of one of my old favorites. Its one of 500 Pasha 950 Chronographs made.
Congrats again and best regards,
Dino
That's the Piguet 1185 based version right?
- SJX
the Pasha 950 used the F.Piguet 1185. It has a dark charcoal color guilloched dial rather than the standard silver dial and its bezel is platinum.
Best regards and congrats again on the addition of this wonderful forum,
Dino

I will do my best to live up to your high expectations.

... and all who sail in her!

I have high hopes for this forum, and I'm sure you will do an excellent job here.
Cheers,
