Hi,
I saw this impressive Chrono today.
Does it have a F. Piguet movement ? Opinions from owners please.
Thanks,
Gelfand
but no it does not use the F.Piguet 1185. The F.Piguet 1185 was last used in the 38mm Pasha Chronographs, which are no longer in production. The watch you mentioned is the current 42mm Pasha chronograph which uses a JLC movement as a base. I do not own a 42mm Pasha so I can't comment on any ownship experience with that model.
Best regards,
Dino
the 42 mm Pasha chronograph is the latest model. It is fairly new so there will not be as many owners of this as the earlier Pasha chronographs.
The 42 mm model has a lot more wrist presence than the earlier versions (including the 1185 based model) and the design is simpler with retangular pushers, smooth bezel and a cleaner dial.
It's shown below with the Pasha Seatimer chronograph.

I believe the distinguishing characteristic is that the Piguet 1185 model has a display back, while the ETA 2894 version does not.
