Rest In Peace, Gino!

My deepest condolences go to his family and friends for this terrible loss. Itt obviously came way too early.

I had the pleasure of meeting Gino some years ago at his legendary watch store. He was extremely welcoming and  generous with his time and we had a very long talk about FP Journe, their friendship and the “crazy” collectors of FPJ watches. One sensed immediately that he was an extraordinary character with a larger than life charisma.

There is a wonderful interview with Gino on thejourneguy that tells a great deal about him and his friendship with FP Journe and his importance to the company. http://thejourneguy.com/in-conversation-with-gino-cukrowicz/

Sincerely

Christian

I have only met him only once or twice while visiting his shop . Great and passionate AD and collector . He did a lot for independent brands and will definitely be missed.

RIP.

Bruno, I am very sad to read that. I knew Gino for some 15 years, we met at his shop ( the bar! ) and in Geneva several times. I even remember his pink Bentley or was it a Rolls?

My knowledge of him is only through others but by all means he seemed like a person people would want to spend time with.

RIP Gino
