Thinking about buying my first CT, please help!!!!
Good morning my fellow enthusiast. I'm considering buying a 42mm titanium Linesport CT. Can anyones who's owned one tell me the good and bad of the piece. I like it but at this price their are lots of interesting pieces.

But in general yes, there’s a lot available at this price point and the CTS is one ugly watch so you’d better really like it.
Despite this ugliness, I’ve managed to see beyond that and these days it’s a favourite and regularly worn watch for me. I think this is one watch which on the wrist makes a lot more sense than ob paper or in pictures.
Movement is widely used (for a Journe). It’s reliable as far as I have experienced and from what I’ve heard from others. The model itself is pretty rare (even for a Journe). I find the titanium to be more versatile than the aluminum. And the watch wears very nicely on smaller wrists; closer to 40mm in reality versus the actual 42mm.

It’s something you need to try and see if you love. It even divides hard core FPJ fans. I came to the love side after a long time. Also be aware the updated model has a slightly larger case.

I love the CT and CTS… but you are right it seems that most collectors prefer the more classic designs
I mean, I’m just telling the truth !
It’s one Journe where the hype train doesn’t outweigh the reality of its ugliness ! So, buyer must really love it like one’s own child (which are always the “cutest, most handsome or prettiest”).

Thanks Jay and everyone else. Hard decision to make, but I usually follow my heart. Don't really care what is cool or hype, thank God, lol. What I do care is that my collection ebs and flows. Some pieces will always be there, others when I find something new I fall in love with I may trade or sell a certain piece from my collection. Current market sentiment plus this not being one of the more popular journes, I'm afraid that if prices continue to slide I may loose 50% or more. Well, no one knows and its just part of the hobby.
