I think it would likely be the last to go in most people’s collection. I have the latest generation. How do you find the winding on this one given the crown placement?

I think the winding / setting is certainly improved on your piece. What you do with mine is turn it back to front and wind it with the thumb. The reason is that the crown sticks out further on the back. The issue is the setting when you need to pull the crown. I will usually take off the strap (quick release).
