I'm told that the titanium cage is aprx 1/3 lighter and has improved accuracy. This is because less energy is required to rotate the tourbillon.

Really impressive to see all 3 Titanium Tokyo Anniversary pieces together!  Also good seeing the black label pieces and the long awaited deployment that allows for micro adjustments!  Thanks for sharing the photo's.  Hope you had a great time!

When I look to the last picture of the Tokyo party I think the next FP journe  is a  ..................
ASTROLABIUM.
Nowadays only Ulysse Nardin and Van der Klauw have an astrolabium and it is such an interesting  item to put into a wristwatch.

What do you think ?

That polish of  the tourbillion carriage  is especially excellent !!

The balance between the complex form and polish is considered carefully.


I also want to see Journe's astronomical watch that  was to applied to Octa series.

Interesting speculation.  When I saw Ludwig Oechslin at the Journe annual Geneva event and the Detouche clock, I wondered something similar.  My thought, though, is not an astrolabe but an equations of time with, perhaps, an astrological addition.
