Some of these limited editions are very special watches. But help me keep things straight.
Each year recently there has been an Anniversary Edition, in Titanium and available at all the boutiques, though early on there was only a Tokyo Boutique. The latest of these watches is the Perpetual Calendrier.
The Titanium watches are beautiful, but I have not had the pleasure to handle one. How does the weight of the Ti watches compare to the gold or platinum versions? And is the price comparable to a gold cased watch?
Then there are the black label (black dial) watches made in each reference in limted number each year for the boutiques. Looks like the latest black label watches are in rose gold case, whereas these were previously in platinum. Does FPJ plan ot release each model in RG/black dial now as a boutique edition? Also I would say from photos that the dial of the RG black label CS looks almost more gray than black. Is there a difference in the dial color of the RG vs PT black label watches? Are the PT/black label watches still produced for the boutiques? Approximately how many of these watches are made each year?
Do I have the basic info above straight? And thanks for answers to questions.
Loved the recent pics of the Tokyo 5th Anniversary party!
Thanks for the info. Do the Black Label limited boutique watches have the same color dial as the apparently non-limited RG/black dial boutique watches? Seems the latter have a lighter dial in pics I have seen, maybe even dark gray.
As an aside, I feel a bit bad for the non-boutique FPJ retailers. Tough enough to sell any expensive watches these days, even more so if you can't offer some of FPJ's most desirable pieces.
Regarding the Perpetual Calendar, to the Boutique in Geneva.
They informed me that I could place an order with a deposit and the watch would be ready in 2-3 months.
Once they have dispatched what has already been ordered.
Hope this helps you.
Either through the open forum or via a pm.
Have a lovely evening.
