I had a Peseux 7001 in a Nomos back in 2002. And I had a Unitas in a Kobold watch in 2007! Good luck on my part that they were the two movements that came up in discussion! 😂
Nowadays when I buy a watch, it is the dial, case and how it fits my wrist that matters. The movement has become less important as long as it is reliable and reasonably accurate. Also, we see the dial more than any other part of the watch!
Between the two, the black version reminds me more of a Breguet watch…likely because of the recent releases with wonderful black dial this past year. But you are right, it’s hard to choose between them😊.
