Put on an old friend today.

JLC Reverso Duoface Night & Day in white gold, ref. #272.34.40, ca. 2003. I love the deep black lacquer and florale Arabic numerals on the recto,... ...and the stamped textures on the verso aren't too shabby, either. I tend to keep the verso on Eastern Ti

Round subdial is a real mistake on this watch

The watch in my collection I've owned longest is a Reverso Duo with, frustratingly, a round subdial. I wasn't keen enough in my watch vision back in 2011 to see what a shortcoming that was, but by now it's got too venerable a place in the collection to gi

Thanks. This is my true favorite Reverso Duo

I played the "Goldilocks" game with Reverso Duo's, having owned 3 in the past. This one, my 4th, should stay in the collection. Finally. First one was too small. 2nd one was OK, but didn't smile enough. The 3rd one got boring for some reason after a year.

Having a good weekend with my RG calendar and moon phase Reverso Duo

Hoping all of you have a great weekend. Enjoy the ending of summer in late August. Although I am still dealing with 36C (almost 100F) temperatures that show no sign of ending yet here in Tokyo. (II never bother to set day/month. Ha) Current time is enough

That is such a beautiful and classy looking watch and it is hard to pick a favourite side as both look so good, but I suppose I would wear the blue side just a little more often if it were me but both are really equally beautiful. Wear and enjoy it in goo

There is no watch quite like a Reverso Duo

What a beauty. I am glad that you are happy with it because you have 2 watches in one. When I first saw a sales person change a Reverso Duo from front to back, my eyes popped out of my head and my jaw dropped to the floor. I think one of these is a "must"

Another wrist shot for you to see what you think.

3 points to note from my perspective: Model Q3912420 1) I have a 7.5 inch wrist. 2) I like bigger watches. 3) I prefer colored precious metals (but I do have some WG in my collection). This is my 4th Reverso Duo. Why? Because the other 3 versions I had lo

Always loved the Hometime!

Always loved the Hometime! With this quirky dial or the later models with the more symmetrical dial. The black dialed versions were the first JLCs on my wish list: either the Aston Martin model or the limited edition for a watch shop (wempe? Bucherer?). O
