Denim strap on a Patek: yes or no?

Brilliant, really cool, a bit adolescent, even sacrilegious ? What do you think ? Best, Emmanuel NAUTILUS Ref. 5980/60G-001 FLYBACK CHRONOGRAPH DATE WORLD TIME DATE Ref. 5330G-001 CALATRAVA PILOT TRAVEL TIME Ref. 5924G-001 FLYBACK CHRONOGRAPH with OEM Den

The date numbering is my least favorite thing about the 5524

I like your idea, my least favorite thing about the 5524 is the date numbering. It isn't simply every other date like 1 .. 3 .. 5 .. etc, it skips 2 dates like 1 .. 4 .. 7 .. 10 .. etc. This always throws me off a bit when reading the date and I find it t

This is my favorite variant of the 5524 as well

I own the blue-dial 5524G-001, but I also prefer this new ivory dial variant over the previous version. I think this dial color works well with a large variety of strap colors, so you can find a combination that matches whatever style you are after very e

Thanks for the link E !

He sounds like a confident man. I remember when the pilot watch 5524 and 5960 steel bracelet came out, it took collectors a little while to get used to them. Perhaps acceptance for these earlier pieces enabled him to become more confident. Hopefully discu

I’m seeing it’s Sold!? That’s quick, congratulations?

I should have gotten the 5524 instead of this “ladies” 7234, although it’s a good size at 37.5mm.

Mystery wrist shot amongst collectors! Ref. 5208P, 5531/1R, 5990, 5712, 5164 and 5524

The Tokyo Watch Art Grand Exhibition was just breathtaking…well planned and executed. The Japanese pieces on display were much more amazing than the pictures I saw, with new movements like changing date backward on GMT on the World Time piece, and the 520

And I realized I'm even more hypocritical...

I own a WorldTime too, and that has A LOT OF LITTLE TEXT all over the dial! Arguably even more than the 6000 and 6006. So who knows, maybe I'd learn to like the 5212. I personally find Cucinelli products to be way overpriced and only "normal" quality. But

I bought it from Kaufmann. It's a customised Mountain Bear. But currently I'm wearing the 5524 on a Molequin Saffiano strap

Had to change the buckle as it's a standard strap and the holes are too small for the pin. Use a 16mm steel PP buckle. Works fine
