Wow! Congratulations! It's my favorite PF by far

I bought this watch, or at least reserved it, the moment it was introduced. I was wonderfully convinced from the photos I gathered. The first time I saw it is when I cracked open the box from my dealer, and I instantly knew I made a great decision. IMO, i

That really is a stunning looking Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda GT.

I really find the look of this watch quite striking as the first thing I notice is just how legible it is and then I start seeing all the small details that make this such a great watch like the Guilloche dial, large date, the knurled bezel and the clean

Interesting observation on the sizing of the date. I think Parmigiani got the size right on the Tonda GT chronograph.

Photo credit: MichaelC You can see here a slightly larger date that is located closer to the 12 o'clock indice. Thanks for the comment Markus.

Thank you for these wonderful shots and for sharing your experience with this watch.

I agree with your two reservations (screw down crown and "automatic") and also with the idea that it's a bit of a shame that the Tonda PF models completely overshadowed the GT line. Guido Terreni did wonders with the PF line, but I find that the prolifera

An underrated watch.

The Tonda GT range of watches - including time & date, annual calendar, and chronograph models - was only in the Parmigiani catalog for about 3 years beginning in 2020 before being replaced by the excellent Tonda PF lineup of watches that is at the co

Obviously I still love your Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda GT Chronograph but now having a special memory attached to it makes it even more special for you.

That has to be one of the coolest charcuterie boards I have ever seen one one hand it seems a shame to cover it up, but on the other hand it gives a great excuse to eat everything on it to reveal its beauty. I think they call that a win win situation. Mar

Speaking of the 1980 "Miracle on Ice" USA gold medal team . . .

. . . I was a senior in 1978 at Bowling Green State University and a member of its NCAA 3rd place ice hockey team when I received a letter from Herb Brooks, the Team USA coach, to attend the Olympic tryouts in late 1978 or early 1979. I had already decide

A very rare Parmigiani Tonda GT

You might have seen this blue dial set in RG Tonda GT cases. Apparently, a "very few" were cased up in steel, and I recently met an owner of one. Looks outstanding, IMO.
