Finally on a real 1450/808

My 30-yr old 145.022. Man, I really like the original 1450 bracelet with 808 endlinks. No more Uncle Seiko copycat for this baby.

Ok, gently forced to show pictures of my Speedmaster "220 bezel".

My watch: Omega Speedmaster ref. 145.022-69 delivered on September 30, 1970 to the US of A. Now, the story on the "220-bezel": A small number of bezels in 1970 had a marking error: instead of the usual graduations marked 225, 200, 190 on the scale, these

This one's up next to wear: my custom made "DLC Racing Japan"

I know that collectors might have mixed feelings about what happened here, but I liked the outcome of it: Omega Speedmaster ref. ST 145.022 with the cal. 861 with the "racing dial" and DLC coating of the case and the 1479 bracelet. Cheers, HSTE

My '69 pre-Moon 145.022 . . .

. . . was delivered to the US a month later in September 1970. Originally owned (gifted, actually) to trotter Fern Pacquet . . . . . . for services to Hialeah Park. Awarded to Pacquet in the early '70s, he wore it while racing until it came in contact wit

My 1970 Omega Speedmaster ref. 145.022 which turned into one of 25 "Hackett 25".

First the photo credits: the first three pictures have been professionally taken by my frients of Watchfid (Anthony and Gregoire). So, Jeremy Hackett (on picture number four, wearing one of these 25 Speedmasters) decided to celebrate the 25 years of Hacke
