I've only seen the lugs on the anniversary models in photos, and they look nice. However, I do think something is lost without the traditional Breguet Classique straight welded lugs and cold rolled fluted case band, as was the case when Breguet abandoned

New shoes for the 5327

This bespoke strap form Visconti Milano came in much lighter in tone than expected. My solution? A touch of dark brown shoe polish. (Gasp!) Crude, but saved me buying yet another strap - much less changing straps again with Breguet's maniacal double screw

Interesting choice

I will be interested to hear your comments on the 7717 when you get to see it. Breguet's always wear larger than their size suggests, so the 35.5mm diameter will look fine on an average sized wrist. The almost linear display of information is interesting
