This particular Tonda PF happens to be on my Want List, the Roman Gauthier is not.

Even if the Gauthier is more horologically impressive. The austerity of the Parmigiani dial, the shape of the hands, the bracelet geometry, the knurled platinum bezel, and the finishing on the microrotor all speak to me in a way that the kooky dial on the

I couldn't agree more, so far as deisign is concerned.

As the happy owner of a different limited edition Arabic numeral Santos-Dumont and as a retired design professional, I admire Cartier's longstanding excellence (even supremacy?) when it comes to watch design, and the Santos models in all their forms exemp

The Integrated Bracelet Steel Sports Watch That Time (and Everybody Else) Forgot:

I’m talking about the Glashütte Original Seventies , specifically, the Chronograph Panorama Date, Ref. #1-37-02-08-02-70. This is the smoked gray dial limited edition version on a steel bracelet. While this is the reference I happen to own, it can probabl

Some live shots of the Bvlgari Octo Finissimo 37 . . .

I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve tried the Octo Finissimo in the 40mm iteration. This photo is from December 2018: Originally released in titanium, I waited patiently for a stainless steel release: As much as I liked these, something just appeared o

The more I think about the 50th Nautilus release the less I like it for a number of reasons ...

1) I certainly do not want the cheap and awful looking engraved rotor and even less so on a 100k watch. Ruins the beautiful 240 movement in my eyes. 2) No date and no seconds looks great but the date on the 5711 has never bothered me and I use it a lot. 3

I love this.

I enjoy wearing Octo Finissimo but it has two major issues: 1) it wears MUCH larger than an equivalent round cases watch and 2) the bracelet clasp with friction pin closure is not secure at all. This new version addresses both .

Bvlgari Octo Finissimo evolves to the much awaited 37mm case...

40mm case of Octo Finissimo is a great timepiece...perfectly slim, well designed integrated bracelet timepiece with a bold character. This reference has most of the industry records to its credit in terms of complications + thickness (thinness) of any tim

Thank you for these super important details!

The fact that they were able to increase the power reserve in a significantly smaller movement is quite impressive. The movement is about 20% smaller in volume. And they were able to increase the power reserve 20% from 60 to 72 hours! That's impressive. I

Wristshot of the new smaller sized 37mm Octo Finissimo in titanium

This 37mm Octo FInissimo is the perfect size now imo, and wears equivalent to a normal round 40mm watch. Cheers, Anthony
