What I was not saying…

Is that a company or a group of companies cannot do different things, and do them well. Yamaha has managed motorcycles and musical instruments for a long time and Honda many things. What is less feasible nowadays is having a leading edge in several automo

Small Middle-Eastern road trip 🇦🇪🇴🇲

While Dubai and Abu Dhabi tend to be on most tourists’ itinerary while in the region, there are five further Emirates and many have non contiguous territories. In fact there is an Omani exclave in the Emirates, and even more interestingly, an Emirati seco

Too much !

No doubt this will be one crazy experience . But probably way too complex, to many lines, curves, spoilers, hightech etc, The Noble is in essence a 'simple' car. A Yamaha V8 prepared by Judd (famous for F1) and classic lines ... and a manual gearbox edit:

Just reread the original post…

Great visit! Can we expect Bik to resume the car testing career? Noble came from a time in British sports car making when so much seemed possible. There were some brands all having a subtly different take but in the end almost none of them survived. And i

Porsche Cayman GTS 4.0.

This morning, I took a good 30 minutes to play with the Porsche configurator and had a " my best Cayman game ". I opted for the 4.0 version. Why? Because of its noble motor, compared to the 2.0 Turbo of the other Caymans, or the 1.8 Turbo of my Alpine. Be

You are right, Filip. There are many great Porsches, as long s they have only two doors, and at least a 6 Cylinders engine. ;) Which doesn't mean that there are no other great cars...

Such as the Lotus or... This Alpine. The engine is not that noble, in the Alpine, but it works very well, and it is full of life. And the whole car is such a charm! I told you, I remember our discussion very well, that I thought that 252 HP were maybe not
