Hello Dauster, this is part of the new Ref. 5189 (not 5077) that we announced on the occasion of W&W 2023 (see our official live thread for WatchProSite of March 27).

These models were priced by Patek at around $120k (with possible minor variations depending on market and CHF conversion rates; some of the 2023 RHs are still being allocated). I sincerely wish you the best of luck if you would like to pursue an allocatio

Spectacular shots of this 5075 --- and sincerely glad to see it (along with its two siblings from the same series!) fared so well at the recent Sotheby's HK auction!

Ref. 5075 is one of the first modern Rare Handcraft references, and its historical value is hard to overestimate. Also worth noting that, thanks to Patek's determination and their leadership in this unique field, the progress made by Rare Handcrafts over

Welcome to the Patek forum, it is a sincere pleasure to have a new fellow Rare Handcraft lover and Patek collector on board :-)

It's probably well-known that I view Patek Rare Handcrafts as THE highest meeting point between horology and art. Since becoming the Patek moderator for this forum three years ago (technically, co-moderator for the first two years), I dedicated LOTS of my

Many thanks Dauster -- the 5189 will follow the long tradition of Patek Rare Handcraft models, both in- and out-of-catalog, which have beeen powered by the *automatic* Caliber 240.

Created in 1977, Caliber 240 is arguably one of the most iconic horological movements ever produced. Along with its variations, it is currently housed in as many as 25 Patek references. It's been the soul of most Rare Handcraft models we have seen in mode

Welcome here. I'm not familiar with the rest of your Patek collection, but I view this model as a truly excellent "entry-level" Rare Handcraft (if such a concept exists) and you would be making a terrific choice by acquiring this in-catalog reference ;-)

I did include its "cousin" 5088/100P in my private collection last year, which is also in-catalog, as I believe at least one hand-engraved model should belong to any serious Rare Handcraft collection. This year, I kindly received a TERRIFIC yellow strap f

you both have an absolute perfection

personally I feel your 5077 is unassuming yet captivating and powerful whereas the 5738 more chic, fun and vibrant.

Rare Handicrafts

During this long weekend and with Thailand 🇹🇭 now opened for tourism, a GTG was the natural way to celebrate improving times. Pre-pandemic we used to meet regular more often, but since 2020, we have not seen each other for a long time! With both friends b

Many thanks for this spectacular Patek! Rare Handcrafts are (as is probably well known! :-)) my favorite timepieces, for their stunning marriage between art and horology which Patek has historically been able to preserve at the highest levels! :-)

For our interested forum members, reference 5075 in enamel, which was introduced in year 2000 and offered until about 2004, is the direct predecessor (in a sense, along with ref. 5076) of today's incredible, out-of-catalog Rare Handcraft production: refs.
