The more I think about the 50th Nautilus release the less I like it for a number of reasons ...

1) I certainly do not want the cheap and awful looking engraved rotor and even less so on a 100k watch. Ruins the beautiful 240 movement in my eyes. 2) No date and no seconds looks great but the date on the 5711 has never bothered me and I use it a lot. 3

Definitely a possibility!

But, considering they've already committed to building 5000 precious metal Nautiluses (creating over half a billion Swiss Francs in revenue at the retail level - which will account for about 1% of all luxury watch revenue from just 3 SKUs), for them to an

These Nautilus references are already going to be over 5% of the company's output.

Assuming these Nautilus models will mostly be delivered within the next twelve months; with 5000 units, that means this is already going to be more than 5% of the entire annual production in unit terms (the estimated production was around 70,000 pieces fo

Given that I have a recently discontinued AD I am currently focused on discontinued references :-)

More seriously, I have always had a soft spot for the celestial complication and the 6105G is very cool but it is also out of reach. The 5610/1P is lovely but in a small collection it would only make sense instead of my blue 5711/1A which has been getting

From the 5000 came a whole Patek model line. Quattro summarized it so well: www.watchprosite.com

Patek 5000 on a Staib

A forward thinking Patek. Though classic/smaller in dial size, this sporty Calatrava wears closer to a 36mm due to strong lugs and 19mm lug width. I like wearing it on this Staib milanese mesh bracelet. Or even a rubber strap! For a long time, my grail Ro

In need of some sizing advice

Hi all. First time poster long time lurker. I have had my eyes on the PP 5000, 6000, and 6006 for a while now. My wrist is on the larger side (18.5cm and flat (60mm flat)). The challenge is that I can't find any of these watches to try on in-person so I'm

Sporty calatrava for the win!

My favourite here also is the 5000 series. G then J. Although the G is the sportiest and under the radar, the J has the same flair that the 5070J does. Less is more? Credit phillips Credit phillips again

Your post 5000, 6000 and other variants is great as it sets up my

6000R China 🇨🇳 10th year anniversary. For me, 5000 has a much cleaner dial, just like my 6000R with picket fence hour marker instead of numbers. Just today, I went to my strap shop to try on a yellow strap. Thoughts on brown or yellow ? 😃
