Once upon a time in the East - driving on ice or what's Santa's favorite? (and given recent discussions, Jaguar features, too) ❄️❄️❄️

As some of you might know I have spent some years further East on an expat assignment prior to 2022. This also included things to do with cars. The post is about cars, driving and Santa only, not about politics. Those members from the Northern climes or t

Now that’s an interesting idea…

But I think there’s not enough of a market for it. Here - especially since there are few originals out there - few would go down that route. Different with 911s and E-Types, where there are tens or hundreds of thousands, creating a much better business ca

The new cars need to great and compelling

I am a long time and satisfied Jag owner, but have already been waiting several years to replace my 2013 Supercharged XF and actively monitored any movement for new models. My impressions are that the Land Rover models received much more priority inside J

A shift from the 60's tot the 90's

n recent years, timepieces from the 1990s to early 2000s have gained remarkable popularity, even surpassing the demand for watches from the 1950s, 60s, and 70s. While classic models from the mid-20th century remain iconic and highly valued by collectors,

The switch, confirmed by the brand’s CEO to reporters at recent Guangzhou motor show in China, means the brand is tearing up its current plan to go all-electric by 2028. Lotus will develop 'Super Hybrid' technology with ultra-fast plug-in charging along w

Exactly….

Marketing is so interesting ie. Woke people that ditched Tesla. Technology didn’t change …only Musk. When you rebrand like jag you have to be prepared to loose customers…the question is can you survive that? The should have gone the Porsche Taycan route I

Sorry I should have been more specific - extended for North America 😉

Not sure how much longer but it sounds like Porsche will continue to make ICE Macans and hopefully Spyder RS's for NA even after they are no longer EU compliant. www.carscoops.com

Interesting. Not for me but Porsche just extended the ICE Macan production and their EV sales are in the toilet because the old audience (me) isn't buying the new EVs, will be interesting to see if they can bring in a new crowd.

Different kind of car, different time, but this is the Porsche marketing that I thought nailed their "younger" audience. youtu.be The macan maybe short of the aston is one of the most expensive cars in it's class, even more now as an EV. Taking a generic
