I’d rather take this one!

A new Constellation Observatory ? No thanks, not for me ! I’d rather take this one , with its great simple design and splendid new old-stock 30 mm manual winding caliber 269 . Would you also choose one of these over the new releases? Best, Emmanuel Omega

Once upon a time - the Omega Tresor De Ville Orbis Edition 🐻

Some years ago found this one in an Omega Boutique. The Orbis Edition donated a part of the proceeds to the Orbis foundation, which, if I recall correctly, supported children with seeing disabilities and operated an MDD DC-10 converted into a mobile eye c

I like this model.

Too slender hour markers add to the emptiness of the dial. Omega has another Tresor line with small seconds subdial with darker color palette but it never caught enough attention. Let’s face it: Speedmaster and Seamaster are their bread and butter.

Not a bad watch..

Dropped by the Omega AD to finally check out the regular Speedmaster. Sadly, the AD had zero speedies so I meandered from display case to display case and saw this Omega De Ville Tresor. I’m not in the market for these sorts of watches but this one caught

Good question

=D 1) Omega Tresor “orbis” edition - has a teddy bear as the number 8 date numeral, and a gold bridge behind. Around 8k brand new 2) Blancpain Villeret Complete Calender in stainless steel. Should be around 12k brand new after discounts, if in USD. Has a

Collectible Swatch Pieces: Diaphane One

It was always exciting to see a Swatch advertisement in the 90’s. Cool, funky, hyped-about, and fun pieces that adults spent on, to make themselves smile. Swatch Scuba These came in nice plastic boxes and funky colours Credit: Vintage Ad Browser I remembe

Extract from archives

Has anyone had an extract procured? I don't need the full authentication (where you send watch in for full breakdown and verification) , but think an extract would be cool. I have an early 50s watch that I have always liked. I filled out the easy form onl

I was looking at the new Tresor manual movements on WatchAdvisor and if I’m not mistaken, it’s purpose built for a 40mm case..

Which led me to think.. i’m not sure they can plop that in on a 38mm RM which then made me think.. that RM60 won’t be getting updated anytime soon. Not unless there’s an existing manual caliber that fits a 38? The movement on those Tresors are quite nice.
