A beautiful backside

The GO PanoRetroGraph in white gold, ref. #60-01-02-02-06, one in a series of 150, circa 2002, with a hand-wound integrated column wheel chronograph and countdown function with chime. Notice the gong at the perimeter, the use of German silver, the engrave

Congratulations on a fine acquisition!

I couldn't agree more, by the way, as to the state of the mechanical watch industry in the early 2000s. Without consciously intending to, I have managed to accumulate a number of watches originating roughly from 2000-2010, and number quite a few of them a

Thanks! Though actually, the PanoGraph does not include a countdown function.

The PanoGraph is a separate model, which followed the PanoRetroGraph and housed the simplified caliber 61, with no countdown mechanism and no acoustic signal. The PanoGraph, of course, remains in serial production as part of the current GO collection. Sti

Glashutte Original Senator Chronometer and Cosmopolite

Ok, not the same case size ( 42 mm for the Chronometer, 44 for the Cosmopolite ) nor the same complications ( Chronometer versus Travel Watch ), but with the PanoInverse, the PanoRetroGraph and the Rattrapante, these are my favorite G.O. The Senator Chron

Did a bunch of trading late in the year, so it'll be a while before I pull the trigger on anything new.

High on my list right now, though: Breguet Classique Hora Mundi, rose gold, Americas dial Glashütte Original PanoRetroGraph, platinum JLC Master Memovox Timer, rose gold JLC Reverso Perpetual Calendar, rose gold Patek Philippe Annual Calendar Regulator, w

Had the chance to play with two of them a year ago.

The PanoRetroGraph ist just awesome and has been on top of my perpetual wishlist since it was launched. The black dial is even better than the usual ones, giving much power to the moderately sized watch. Best, Martin
