The rarely seen (nowadays) Seiko Presage Cocktail Time SRPC01 🍸⏱️🇯🇵

When these came out, they really added a certain amount of excitement to the Presage line below the fully fledged enamel / Urushi dial versions. While the line is far from dead I find the excitement of the later versions after the Sakura got slowly less a

Remember there used to be a line called Cocktail Time? 🍸⏱️

I haven’t worn mine for ages but they combined a relatively unobtrusive case and movement with some really nice dials, and each came with a cocktail recipe from a famous barman. I believe they were the entry level into the Presage series, below the enamel

Quick shot of the Seiko Presage Cocktail Time SRPC03 Sakura Fubuki

How’s that for a long name? The Cocktail Time line has been greatly expanded this year and the collaboration with real cocktail bars is a great idea. Having both the SRPC01 Starlight and the follow on Sakura Fubuki, one could say I really love them While

Now officially mine - the Seiko Presage SRPC03 Sakura Fubuki

After seeing the one posted by Beerstyles, I had to have a look at the local AD if he carried one as well. But it seems that with the recent Presage line, global availability is properly taken care of, so it was a yes. I got it in addition to the SRPC01 S

Seiko Sunday - wearing one?

Reading Ken’s great reports of the Seiko, Grand Seiko and Credor novelties from BaselWorld 2018 has had me go check which ones I have at home and take a picture for this week’s Seiko Sunday. For me it’s the Seiko Presage SRPC01 (almost the same as the Jap

Starlight does Snowflake - the Seiko Presage SRPC01 in a different element

While I am not sure that Cazalea has done a roll call of all SRPC01 / SARY085 Purist owners yet, the number of posts here lets me conclude that there are many Being one of the group and having had the odd moment of snow and time, I decided to see if it ma

Here’s my heavy metal shot...

The Seiko Presage SRPC01 (aka SARY085) Cocktailtime Starlight seems to have had StarTrek fans on the development team. How else do you explain the very heavy metal Klingon bat‘leth shaped rotor at the back? Have a great weekend!

Mine is the JDM VERSION OF SARY085...

The other difference is the default strap; SRPC01 comes with croc pattern leather strap whilst the SARY085 comes with glossy dark blue leather strap. Below is a wrist shot of my SARY085: Love the mesmerizing dial if this Starlight!!!
