I owned this for 3 years and my wife and I drove it across Europe, camped in a tent on the roof, hauled logs for our boiler, used it as a bird hide, cooked on the built in table, carried a toilet in the back. It’s a go anywhere do anything vehicle. Great views from up high. Were super middle aged BT
Show me a perpetual I can read in less than perfect light and which fits my wrist and you’ll change my life. But when you learn to appreciate the beauty of design and execution in some of the simplest watches your life will be forever richer!
Thank you for this post on a beautiful watch that is in my view somewhat overlooked. A perpetual that is wearable, relatively legible for older eyes and is beautiful front and back. Really like the 310.028 but photos are often deceptive! Many many thanks
As I recall I found it a difficult watch to wear despite being comfortable on the wrist? Perhaps its size at 36mm was less than ideal and maybe the rose gold and stars made it too feminine. But I still miss it. I shall need try harder to find a better alternative!
The beating heart of this watch was created in 1959. The case and dial originate from 2006. Patek discovered a box of old movements when they cleared out old premises and the idea was born. So is it vintage or not?
