Girard Perregaux: For information of anyone requiring GP service in UK

UK service is for the time being handled by Gucci group Watches & jewllery in London. This a collection point only. All watches will be forwarded to GP manufacture in Switzerland. 4 weeks for estimate, 16 weeks for completion of service. Mine is back there now for an oil & filter change! Jer

Still no reponse from Contact made via GP website re UK service etc. Worrying and very disappointing. These aren't cheap watches, and if you cant get them serviced or repaired....

Girard Perregaux: WWTC?

I have a steel WWTC US76 currently on the correct rubber GP strap which is cut to fit. The rubber straps weren't too pricey when the watch was new. I would not have bought the wwtc if it had the BMW logo on the dial, Bavarian Blue is enough thanks (I'm a Mercedes man but I wouldn't want a star on it

I suspected that CF would be good but It's really had to assess the quality and appearance of straps from web pages. Likewise the ABP site has plenty pics but they dont look like they are worth the extra money. I'm sure they look the business in the flesh though. Jean Rousseau look very interesting

Blancpain: Question re X71 Bracelet link removal technique

Hi everyone, I am after some advice. I have just aquired a Blancpain Flyback with an X71 bracelet which I am thrilled to bits with. But I need to adjust the braclet by removing a link.
