I like both, but I am more likely to get the 232. I would probably go with the better deal. If money is the same, I would take the 232.

Officine Panerai: How is the ceramic coated?
Is the ceramic powdercoated or is the material black all the way thru? I know with PVD, if you you scratch deep enough you will reveal bare metal. What happens in the ceramic?

I def. think this watch looks better with the pig. Otherwise it looks like a ceramice 183. Are the pig productions done?

232 is the simple choice for me. Classic Panerai. Unless you need the functions of the Rat, I would def. say 232
