What a boring re-design... No doubt it will do well but it strikes me as a dumbing down on the orginal with so few design cues and originality as to make it visually bland. Uninspiring and dull.
Despite the (somewhat continuing) crisis in some places of the industry, I’m really impressed by the overall quality of the pieces at this year SIHH – JLC of course (so many wonderful novelties) but quite a few others have stunning offerings (Zeitwerk Luminous!!!) and most importantly really excelle
very nice review - love the "quartz movements of which i have no wish to speak" comment - I can imagine you frowning typing this. The strap looks amazing - love the buckle... Orient isn’t a brand I’ve had much interest in but I must say this one is rather tempting.
