Audemars Piguet: The Elusive Smooth Dial Royal Oak QP

I've been on the hunt for the silver toned smooth dial RO QP for a few years now and am excited to finally add one to my collection. It's from the early 2000's and I absolutely love the monochromatic look. Cheers!

Cartier: Fantastic Watch!

If I recall, that model comes on a brown strap. Were you able to order this black strap from Cartier? If so, do they offer any other colors ready to order? I have the same watch in platinum. Thanks.

Cartier: I have an idea

Given that it was produced for a royal, my guess is that they requested the white gold parts be replaced with platinum, due to religious reasons. Thus, that would explain why your bezel looks more like platinum than it does white gold. That would attribute to the piece-unique annotation.

Patek Philippe: Tang is my preference

I also have a 5205G with the tang buckle along with a PCC with the usual deployment. I prefer the tang buckle for comfort but do appreciate the style of the deployment, although I might find it annoying on a day-to-day watch.

Patek Philippe: 5172G Availability

Hi friends. Been trying to track down a 5172G, but haven't been able to find one yet. Are these ever on display and/or offered to new clients, or are they really on a waitlist for existing clients? Thanks.

F.P. Journe: Very interesting!

Do you know when they switched to the new moon phase, and perhaps any additional photos of it? My Lune is from July 2020 and seems to have the old one, which is a more plain silver moon.
