Patek Philippe: Help identifying a 1940 platinum Patek "curvex"

I bought this elegant platinum Patek "curvex" for my wife for Christmas. The serial number dates the movement to somewhere between 1935 adn 1940. I bought it from my watchmaker who serviced it 3 times in the last 20 plus years and finally bought it from the widow of the man who owned it and wore it.
