But surely it is not really feasible to fake this up. You need a different dial plate, cannon pinion, hour wheel plus a module that fits and aligns with the sub second... Boggle.

Likewise Hoi. That said, I have managed to source all the parts needed for my 321 resto (and there were a lot!) without too much trouble. I am not too sure what one can expect to have supported when they are over 40 years old, I was surprised how many I could get. I am glad however that I am not try

Thanks, and I agree this is absolutely is not commercially viable - that was why it had been sitting in the watchmaker's draw for 20 odd years. That said, at least a hobbyist can use different (and dodgy) accounting.
