This is probably the best time of year to visit the Sierras and Yosemite! The snow pack is just starting to melt and the rivers and waterfalls are all at their max. I do most of my PuristS surfing on my Alienware laptop that I use for work, even though I have a desktop and an iPad at home. My Alienware M17x R3 works great on the D3 beta. Double tap the home button and a menu will pop up on the bottom. Then scroll left through the icons and it should give you the option to lock the screen rotation. It took a fair amount of googling to find this out.
