I for one will not miss Baselworld. Having been to the SIHH several times as well as Baselworld, I thought there was always a strange "bazaar" atmosphere at baselworld... Seems also MCH was completely blindsided by the news:

I have the same ballon bleu in 36mm, but in steel not the two-tone version. It does not feel feminine at all, it's the perfect watch for travel - very discreet and light yet elegant enough with a suit. And the Cartier steel bracelet feels just perfect!

Instead I am wearing a Easy Diver today, in wintery switzerland ;-)

I have the white dial chronograph version. Understated quality, yet it goes under the radar as it is very discrete.
