Omega: 2520 I believe

The watch has not arrived yet (it will probably get here in about a week). I do not seem to be able to get any information out of the new (improved???) Omega vintage database. I liked the old version a lot better.

Omega: A Journey Through Time

There are occasions when I look at watches by other makers and I see a couple I like and many I do not. With the older Omegas I see a a great many that I like and very few that I do not (OK, the Proplofs, most with a metal bracelet - but not the snake bracelets, and anything huge I don't care for).

Omega: help with a centenary

Hello everyone, I have on my current wish list a Centenary. I've been researching watches on the Web and also reading some of Desmond's essays. Does anyone have a source that provides information on the relative scarcity of the cases (steel, pink gold, yellow gold)? I know there were two different m

Omega: steel versus leather

I like this watch. I think the strap or bracelet is one of those things that makes a real difference in the mind of the person wearing the watch. I have a couple 18 kt Seamasters with 18 kt bracelets and I've never worn them because I do not like the appearance. They are great watches but I usually

Omega: restoring

Hello, I have a vintage watch company in Australia that I use and they are superb, both for movements, dials, and cases. They are one of two companies I trust. Given that I go to Brisbane about twice a year, its really convenient for me and I always come back with a couple new pieces. I am certain t
