Audemars Piguet: AP Quincy Jones

Hi All, You may recall I raised the merits or otherwise of the Audemars Piguet Quincy Jones - a watch that I liked a great deal but had some uncertainties due to what I perceived to be the collapse in value of this "limited edition" watch . Well, after enough contemplation, and the kind words of AP

Audemars Piguet: Beautiful!

Gorgeous - a true beauty to behold. I love my Millenary Pianoforte, though yours has a heritage beauty the Pianoforte trades for something more contemporary.

Patek Philippe: Actually, dammit, I loved it...

I re-read it a second time. Yes, I loved the letter. I'll do the same with my three young boys one day.

Patek Philippe: Some great points

Ok, so you're a traditionalist, I like that. It's a worthy letter to your son, and is actually a great idea. Better for your son's watch to have a story, for your story to be remembered by your son with a watch, and for you to watch your son and remember your letter. :-) "You never really own a Pate

A. Lange & Söhne: My only Lange - a Fliegeruhr

Audemars Piguet: That's a nice watch!

And thank you for referencing my post above! I only have the one Audemars Piguet (the Millenary Pianoforte), but might spring for a Millenary Quincy Jones or Jules Audemars Ultra-Thin over the next few years. It may be sacrilege to admit it, but I have never really been a fan of the Royal Oak. It's

Patek Philippe: PP 5107G Calatrava - a great watch to wear everyday

It's been my pleasure to collect a few Patek Philippe watches over the last two years, since I started collecting watches in earnest. (I don't do it for me, rather, I collect with the aim of one day handing over a comprehensive collection to my three boys, aged between 6 and 3). Despite it being a c

Audemars Piguet: Photos of the AP Millenary Pianoforte box and case

I must admit, it's better looking than I remembered it when I packed it away! To give you some idea of its size, the external cardboard box measures 39cm (15.4 inches) wide. external box Piano case inside box case fully open next to boxing Like a piano front on Like a piano side on
